On 21 November 2019, Google announced that Google Cloud Print will no longer be supported as of December 31, 2020.

For Current PaperCut Customers:
If you have enabled Google Cloud Print integration within PaperCut NG/MF, you’ll no longer be able to print using Google Cloud Print after December 31, 2020.

Google Cloud Print is used for three primary reasons: BYOD printing, Chromebook printing,  and Printing over the internet or untrusted guest networks.

If you’re using PaperCut MF version 17 or later, and you want to continue to enable BYOD and Chromebook printing with PaperCut MF, you have the option to enable and migrate to Mobility Print.

Mobility Print will include internet-based printing for Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks early this year. If internet-based printing is the reason you’re using Google Cloud Print, you’ll either have to wait for this functionality or implement Web Print or Email to Print outlined below.

If you’re using PaperCut MF version 16 or earlier, Mobility Print won’t be available to you. However, you still have the option to use Web Print, Email to Print, or the PaperCut User Client.

Web Print and Email to Print allow your users to submit documents over the internet or untrusted guest networks. The PaperCut User Client can be used to authenticate print jobs from BYOD computers.

For Non-PaperCut Customers:
