On Friday, November 1, 2024 the Kristi House celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Open House for their new property, The Healing Sanctuary, in Homestead, Florida.

Kristi House is dedicated to treating and preventing child sexual abuse, trafficking and other childhood trauma, working closely with community partners, parents and providers. They operate the only Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Miami-Dade County. Kristi House is responsible for coordinating child-victims’ legal, medical, and social services needs.

The Healing Sanctuary will be a permanent, shared service center site in southernmost Miami-Dade to provide services for children and families who have experienced abuse, violence and other trauma. It is envisioned as a one-stop beacon of hope and healing, poised to transform a community with great needs assets and possibilities.

As a board member for Kristi House, Power Technologies’ Sales Manager, Rich Powers is passionate about giving back to the community. Their focus and mission of keeping children and families safe requires them to be secure and reliable. It is iPower’s honor to aid them in their efforts.
