Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab (BLI, BLI 2018 Printer), the world’s leading authority on the document imaging industry, announced the winner of its Reliability award. Presented once every three years, the Buyers Lab Reliability award honors the manufacturer whose product line is determined to be the most reliable, based on the combined results of all models subjected to Buyers Lab’s rigorous reliability testing.

Printer and MFP reliability is a key concern for buyers, since a reliable device helps minimize downtime, resulting in improved worker productivity. After compiling performance data for every major OEM that submitted devices for laboratory testing from 2012 to 2018, the highly experienced analyst team has selected the vendor whose product line that stands out above the rest.

HP Leads the Pack in Reliability

Keypoint Intelligence also announced HP as the winner of the 2018 Printer/MFP Line of the Year award. Presented once a year, the Line of the Year awards honor the manufacturers whose product lines are determined to be the best overall based on the cumulative test results of all models tested in BLI’s rigorous two-month laboratory evaluation. The selections are made by BLI’s highly experienced staff of technicians and analysts after subjecting scores of devices from every major OEM to BLI’s exhaustive, comprehensive lab tests.

For the eighth time in the past ten years, HP has claimed BLI’s Color Printer/MFP Line of the Year award, thanks to their robust line of printers and MFPs, class-leading innovation, and enterprise-level security.
