Major Sponsor, TGI, Helps Raise More than $140,000 for PBSC
Thirty-two teams of four came out to play Friday, May 4th in the PBSC Foundation’s 2018 Golf Classic at Mayacoo Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach.
Themed, “Swing for Student Success,” the event raised more than $140,000 which will go toward STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) student scholarships as part of the College’s STEAM initiative.
“We are very proud of all of you for participating in this event,” said Ricky Wade, chairman of the PBSC Foundation board of directors. “It not only symbolizes all the hard work of the Foundation but also the ongoing efforts to raise funds for scholarships to support student success and grow our community.”
Major sponsors of the Golf Classic were: Al Packer Ford, Alpha Media, Coca Cola Beverages of Florida, Dell EMC, Fastrack MCI, Innovate- AV, Inc., Kaufman Lynn, McDonald’s Group, Moss Construction, TGI Office Automation and Tripp Electric Motors, Inc.
