TGI Helps to Make a Difference for PBSC Students
Whether the Champion Course found players driving for the green or putting for par, the PGA National Resort and Spa gave everyone an opportunity to be a champion for the students of Palm Beach State College.
Palm Beach State College’s 14th Annual Golf Classic had players swinging for more than the fairway; they were swinging for a better way. Benefiting student scholarships, the event at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens brought College and Community together for a day of fellowship for players and a lifetime of dreams for students. With over 30 foursomes teeing off for student success, the day saw novice and advanced golfers contributing to the College’s mission to transform students’ lives. Themed Be Our Champion, the event at PGA offered participants an elevated experience of not only a day on the course but also what it means to make a difference in someone’s life.
TGI Office Automation along with 50 local companies sponsored this year’s Golf Classic featured the McDonald’s Experience Room where players were outfitted with golf shoes, gloves and some new Palm Beach State swag before enjoying lunch in the Members Club. After a shotgun start to the 18-hole scramble, players ended the day with a specially prepared dinner of international cuisine, trophy presentations and words from President Ava Parker, reminding everyone that the College truly is the heart of Palm Beach County.
TGI is honored to have spent this exciting day supporting student success at Palm Beach State! TGI, IT Director, David Bergeson was featured in the video below.
