TGI Named Largest Lanier Dealer at Ricoh Convergence 2015
Posted June 2015
Ricoh hosted Convergence 2015 at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel March 2nd-5th. At the event, TGI was honored with the title “Largest Lanier Dealer in the US.”
The goal of the conference is to educate dealers, like TGI, on the latest and greatest software, hardware, solutions and services. Convergence offers innovative technology expos, motivating speakers, and a platform to collaborate with other industry professionals.
The theme of the event was Collaborate.Succeed. Jim Corridy, Vice President of Ricoh U.S.A. Dealer Division, said, “Customer behavior and expectations are changing significantly. New categories of customer requirements are emerging every day. Mobility, the cloud, social media, and of course changing generations. Now more than ever, our focus is to work closely with our dealers. To listen and respond with the support and resources that will help you take advantage of these changes.”
Jim Corridy also spoke about TGI and our relationship with Ricoh. He said, “A milestone this year was TGI celebrating 50 years in business. Frank Grasso’s father worked with a partner in Brooklyn. That is how it all started. TGI is now a $75 million a year dealership with tremendous growth the past few years. Frank has been an RFG dealer for about 20 years and they are the largest Lanier dealer in the US. Frank, thank you for your leadership and congratulations.”
We are thankful for our partnership with Ricoh. They are certainly the leader in the industry and we are proud to be a part of their success. In the last year, Ricoh achieved an astounding 13% increase in A3 (11×17) MFP sales. They even scored the #1 market share spot for certain Production segments, no small accomplishment considering they weren’t in the production market 10 years ago.
If you are in the market for Ricoh/Lanier copiers (multifunction devices) you can browse them on our website or contact a sales representative.
