TGI Raises $15,556 for YAI Central Park Challenge
Posted June 2014
On June 7, TGI participated in YAI Central Park 3K Walk / 5K Run Central Park Challenge to help change lives for people with developmental disabilities and their families. TGI employees as well as their friends, family and clients donated $15,556! The entire event raised $1,100,221!
The support raised and the gifts given will allow YAI to provide vital services to individuals with developmental disabilities that help them to live the fullest life possible. Children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome rely on the YAI Network for basic services such as preschools, health care, housing, and job training. Thanks to your support of YAI, these individuals will reach their fullest potential and be active members of our community.
TGI believes in giving back to the community and empowering their employees to do the same. “We are committed to doing as much as we can to support the YAI Network,” said Frank Grasso, TGI’s CEO. We also demonstrate our commitment to diversity and community by employing YAI graduates in our service department. It has been a wonderful experience over the years.
