TGI Supports Brooklyn Third Street Block Party
TGI has always enjoyed giving back to the community that has supported us for 50 years. Year after year we look forward to the Third Street Block Party. This year on September 12 our neighbors came together to meet, greet, eat and enjoy one another’s company. The children were able to enjoy rides and entertainment.
“Thank you for the generous donation to the Third Street Block Association. Your long-time support makes it possible for our entire block to come together and enjoy the day. The party makes it easy to meet some of your neighbors that we would otherwise not know. This actually helps build community spirit which makes it a better neighborhood for all. Thank you for supporting Third Street and helping Brooklyn be a great place to live and work,” said Robert Mesnard of the Third Street Block Association.
In 1964, TGI Office Automation (then T&G Industries) was born in a humble brownstone in Brooklyn, NY. Two partners set out to earn an honest living with a $500 loan from their grandmothers, selling copy paper and office supplies. From those humble beginnings, TGI has grown into one of the most successful business technology providers in the U.S. offering equipment, solutions, and service nationwide. Although our organization has grown in leaps and bounds, we’ve never lost touch with the old neighborhood. Our state-of-the-art headquarters and cutting-edge technology portal is located on Third Street less than a mile away from that same humble brownstone. This continually reminds us of where we came from.
