The Brooklyn Cyclones Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of TGI & the Verrazano Bridge
Posted June 2014
TGI has been the Official Sponsor to the Brooklyn Cyclones since the stadium opened. On June 16th the Cyclones played their cross-bridge rival, Staten Island Yankees, at MCU Park in Coney Island, New York. That evening the team honored the 50th Anniversary of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge along with TGI’s 50th Anniversary.
TGI’s General Manager, Robert Filipkowski, had the honor of throwing the first pitch of the night. Yes, he got it over the plate! Take a look at the video here and the photos on our facebook page. The fans enjoyed the celebration and the post-game fireworks. What a way to kick off the season! TGI was honored to be a part of the evening.
